The exhibition *The World Through AI* presents a selection of works created between 2016 and today, including early works by aurèce vettier, many of them previously unseen, which raise the question of how we experience the world “according to AI” or “through the prism of AI”. 
In other words, what it means to perceive, imagine, know, remember, work and act in a world increasingly permeated by AI technologies which raise all sorts of ethical, epistemological and political issues, while requiring massive material and environmental resources.

Specially designed for the Jeu de Paume, the exhibition reflects the fundamental distinction between “analytical AI” (which includes computer vision and facial recognition systems) and “generative AI”.
Several « time capsules », inspired by cabinets of curiosities, suggested links between the present and the past, thereby situating these current transformations in a historical perspective. The exhibition was accompanied by a rich program of screenings, artist talks, lectures and conferences taking place at the Jeu de Paume and elsewhere in Paris.
