우리의 자연에 대한 기억은 시간의 경과에 따라 점차 희미해지며, 사람들은 깨닫지 못한 채 환경의 지속적인 악화에 익숙해집니다. 각 세대는 어린 시절에 경험한 자연환경을 규범으로 삼습니다.

미국의 심리학자 Peter H. Kahn은 이러한 심리적 현상을 "환경 세대 건망증"이라고 불렀습니다. 이러한 점진적인 망각에 대항하기 위해, 연구자들은 협력하여 생태학적 관점에서 역사를 기록하는 방식을 고안했으며, 이를 통해 자연과 다시 연결하고자 합니다.

예술가와 과학자들의 집단 지성은 새로운 기술, 특히 디지털 기술을 활용하여 잊혀진 자연의 상태와 다시 연결하고 자연에 대한 인류의 기억을 보존하고 있습니다.

본 전시회는 15명의 예술가의 작품을 회화, 영상, 태피스트리, 드로잉, 설치미술, 증강현실, 조각 등 다양한 매체로 선보이며, the artists에게 자연과 기술을 조화시키고 살아있는 것들과의 관계를 재고할 것을 요청했습니다. 세 단계로 구성된 본 전시는 과거의 자연 파괴를 회상하는 것으로 시작하며, 자연의 독창성과 취약성을 탐색하여 자연 보호의 시급함에 대한 인식을 높입니다. 세 번째 단계에서는 the artists들이 구상한 다양한 미래의 모습을 선보이며, 예측적 서사를 통해 상생적 관계에 대한 희망을 반영합니다.
