Sur-reality

The sur-reality works are built from the artist's own memory. A custom AI model is trained on childhood photographs, family images and pictures taken on the phone; the artist records his dreams on waking and prompts the model to reconstruct them.
Recurring motifs surface from the archive: yellow butterflies, a black Porsche, white borzois, two moons, Notre-Dame in flames, a four-eyed cat. The selected images are kept low in resolution and painted in oil, sometimes scaled up into frescoes and tapestries.
